Fairfax Trial Bridles

Fairfax Bridle Trial Service

Experience the benefits of a precision-fitted Fairfax bridle before committing to your final purchase. Our Bridle Trial Service allows you to assess fit, comfort, and performance, ensuring the best possible outcome for your horse.

How the Trial Works

Provide us with your horse’s measurements for the following components:

  • Headpiece

  • Noseband

  • Cheek pieces

  • Throatlash

  • Browband

Using these measurements, we will assemble a Fairfax bridle using trial and demonstration components, tailored to your horse’s specifications.

Trial Payment

  • A 50% trial payment of £200 is required prior to dispatch.

  • The bridle will be sent to you for a two-week trial period.

  • Postage costs are additional and payable separately.

During Your Two-Week Trial

The trial period allows you to:

  • Ride and train as normal

  • Assess comfort, fit, and performance

  • Trial individual bridle components, if required

This process ensures complete confidence before proceeding to a final bespoke bridle.

After the Trial

At the end of the two-week trial, you may choose one of the following options:

Return the Trial Bridle

If the bridle does not meet your expectations, return it within the two-week trial period. Once received and inspected, your £200 trial payment will be refunded, subject to the Terms & Conditions below.

Proceed with Your Custom Fairfax Bridle

If you are happy with the fit and performance:

  • The trial bridle must be returned, as it is made up of Fairfax trial and demonstration components.

  • Upon return, you can pay the remaining balance.

  • A brand-new Fairfax bridle will then be made and dispatched, produced to the exact measurements confirmed during your trial.

Every completed order results in a new, bespoke Fairfax bridle, finished to the brand’s exacting standards.

Terms & Conditions

  • The £200 trial payment is refundable only if the trial bridle is returned in good, clean, and serviceable condition.

  • Postage costs are not included in the trial payment and are non-refundable.

  • The customer is responsible for the safe return of the trial bridle within the two-week trial period.

  • Colne Saddlery reserves the right to withhold or partially deduct refunds where returned items show excessive wear, damage, or misuse.
